Little things

Have you ever noticed how much time little chores can take up? For example this morning I got to work at 8am, right on time. By the time I set up my laptop (I had taken it home), checked and returned e-mail, checked and returned phone calls it was already 9:30. Where does the time go.
I took from RT (research time) yesterday to work from home, and that always disconbubulates me a little. Makes me feel rushed when I get back to the office.
