Campus Politics.....
So I went to the dr today. I don't have streap throat, but he is concerned. Evidently my throat is really raw, well Duh!!! I''ve been coughing like a fiend for 3 days. Yesterday my mucus stuff had blood in it, today it had what looked like little pieces of califlower. So he did some blood work and is testing me for mono, because I mentioned I have been tired for the last month. If I have mono my husband has some explaining to do, wonder who he's been kissing?
Anyhow, today we had an LMS (libraries and media services) faculty meeting. There were some policies that came up to be voted on. It was so interesting to see how everybody thought about issues (like the regional campus librarians having research time) and the rules for voting. Everybody was very polite and made what I considered valid points. After the meeting I had to talk to Carolyn for some clairification of issues. It was an interesting learning experience. It was refreshing to sit in a meeting and know that no matter what I said my office wasn't going to get ransacked or a note left on my car!

Sanity in the workplace. priceless.
Wow a workplace where the staff members act like adults? I am jealous!
Forget the workplace mumbo jumbo. I'm more interested in this mono thing and where it started. This sounds like juicy gossip time. Of course one of you probably drank from a contaminated glass...yeah, that's it...that's the ticket...a dirty glass. Right Paul?
