Crazy????
So are Paul & I crazy for considering letting our 18 year old nephew live with us so he can attend college and not live in the dorm? Zach is a good kid, if a bit misguided at times. He stayed with us for a month this past summer in Texas. We know that this would be ALOT different. But I can't help thinking this is something we should do.
Thoughts, comments???????

Hmmm...this could work out...in theory. My mother-in-law will be moving in with us this weekend for an undetermined amount of time. This also could work out...in theory.
Sam, wow. I think a 18 year old boy may be easier to control than a mother-in-law!
Wow an 18 year old boy - that would be not only a big responsibility and could possibly have some financial impacts to consider - extra utilities, food etc. Definately a big decision.
However it could also be a good growing experience to be on his own in a dorm setting and come to visit you guys for the feeling of family and home. If the dorm didn't work out then you could discuss the possibility again.
As someone who stayed at home during college - I sometimes wish that I had the growing experience of being on my own so that I knew what to expect when I had to be completely on my own without even the possibilyt of familt help. On the other hand - I am sure I saved a ton of money - that being said someone paid for that financialy. . .
Also you have to consider - the impacts on your family if you were to have a small family addition . . .
