Snow

I love the snow. It was one of the things I missed most while living in the South. Christmas trees just don't look right when the sun is blazing and the tempature is 80. Call me crazy!
Not only do I love the snow but so do my dogs! The of them think it is great fun, while one just wants to get his cold behind into the house as soon as possible! Whoever named that dog Killer did not know him very well.
I like snow so much that I am cutting out snowflake patterns to use for cake decorating. You just place the pattern on top of a cake and sprinkle powdered sugar over the cake. When you remove the pattern you have a snowflake on the top of your cake. Isn't that clever?

I would like to point out that I didn't miss the snow at all, I got my fix with the movie White Christmas with Bing Crosby each year. I have, however, become quite proficient at shoveling something other than horse or cow manure.

Tell Paul that watching White Christmas doesn't give you the true feeling of the being cold. I mean, it's not until your really cold that you can appreciate a roaring fire, a cup of cocoa and tucking your legs under a blankt while staring at a Christmas tree. Without the cold as a comparison, how can you really get the full effect?

This time of year brings to mind such holiday classics as "Paul Earp Got Run Over By A Reindeer" and "Paul Earp, the Red Nosed Texan". And of course, "Paul's Dreaming of a Warm Christas".
