First garden crop

This evening while working in the garden (weeding and mulching) I decided to check on my radishes, which are normally the first veggie ready. (well the first veggie that I plant, the asparagus is always the first yet once it is planted it comes up year after year so there is no replanting). To my great delight there were 4 that were ready to pick. They will be done within a few weeks, it doesn't take them long to mature. I always struggle about planting them, they don't take much time and are super easy to grow yet I never eat them all and feel wasteful. This year I didn't plant as many so hopefully I won't waste any. I am posting some pictures for your enjoyment.
These are the radishes before I cleaned them. Here are the radishes sparkling clean and bright red.
Finally here is a picture of the radishes with their white flesh. Yummy! They have a little bite to them after a few seconds.

Do you take orders? I wouldn't mind having you FedEx me a bunch of them great looking radishes. You definitely have quite a talent for growing crops. Maybe you should forget about the library career and go into the produce business.
