My birthday

Well another year has come and gone. I turned 31 on Friday. Yes that's right I gave my real age. I decided that I don't want to be one of those women who lie about their age. Our age should be worn like a badge of honor, we survived another year and all the crap that came with it. We also received new blessings for a whole other year. Of coarse I think as a reward for admitting our age we all should get a day at the spa or at least a thermal stone pedicure (which was delightful!).
A group of us went to the Melting Pot on Friday for dinner. It was wonderful and I highly recommend it. While it was a little pricey it was well worth it, the food and atmosphere were great.
Now I just have to get through the next three weeks (5 assignments to do!). Then it will be smooth sailing this summer with the chickens!

Happy Birthday!!! You still don't look a day over 25. And I hope Paul doesn't mind me saying but I still think you're the prettiest librarian I've ever met. I hope the coming year is a happy and lucrative one. Next time we all get together I will buy you a bottle of whatever drink you like. Hang in there...the semester is almost in your rear view mirror.
