spring break
Wow, it has been along time since I last posted. A few weeks ago Kent had spring break. Paul and I went to Texas, part work and part vacation. We spent 3 days in San Antonio, where I presented at the SITE (society for information technology and teacher education) conference. Then we spent the rest of the week down in Woodsboro with Paul's mom and visiting friends.
On the way back to the San Antonio airport we stopped along the side of the highway to take pictures of the wildflowers. At the first stop I got covered in mud, and at the second I was attacked by fire ants. Paul unknownly parked right next to a fire ant bed and I got a few on me when I got out of the car, which was no big deal. I got some decent pictures. When I got back in the car I noticed I had some ants on my shoes so I got out to brush them off and know them off the floor mat. The next thing I knew Paul was yelling at me to move and when I looked down I was covered with fire ants on both legs almost all the way to my knees. A very creepy feeling! So there I am hoping around the side of the highway like an idiot trying to get the little buggers off. After about 10 minutes I was ant free, then I jumped in the car and took off my pants (if I thought I could have gotten away with it, they would have come off outside the car!). I ended up wearing a pair of Paul's cargo pants, which are very comfortable. He is now guarding them.
Enjoy the pictures.

Sorry to hear about the ants. The pictures of the flowers are lovely.
What a way to get into your man's pants! :-)
